- Governor Agbu Kefas ordered the temporary closure of the mosque.
 - The closure will remain until the government constructs three new mosques:
- One for Izala-Jos sect
 - One for Izala-Kaduna sect

- The directive followed a peace meeting at the Palace of the Gara Donga, attended by:

 - Islamic scholars
 - Community leaders
 - Youth groups
 - Representatives of different Muslim sects

 - Emphasized that Christian communities under CAN will also be considered in the spirit of balance.

 - Stressed that any act disrupting peace and development will not be tolerated.
