Hilaria Baldwin, the mom of seven and reality TV personality, has opened up about her recent exit from Dancing with the Stars (DWTS), clarifying claims that a “bullying” campaign by viewers contributed to her elimination. Baldwin, 41, competed alongside professional dance partner Gleb Savchenko, with their final performance airing on October 7, 2025.
Speaking Out on the Too Much Podcast
On November 4, 2025, Baldwin appeared on the Too Much podcast with host Emma Paige Klipstein to discuss her time on the show and respond to earlier statements she made on Instagram Live, where she mentioned feeling “bullied off the show.” Baldwin explained that the alleged bullying came not from the cast or crew, but from external fans engaging in what she described as a “campaign” to influence voting outcomes.
“They’re gonna vote for all the couples besides me, or besides X person. So that suppresses your fan vote,” Baldwin shared. She added that such tactics are not unique to her experience, noting that other competitors have also been targeted in similar ways.
Social Media and Fan Campaigns
Baldwin described how social media platforms, particularly TikTok, highlighted the coordinated efforts of viewers attempting to manipulate votes. “You open TikTok, you’re like, ‘Oh my God, this is like this sad,’” she said. “It hurts your feelings.” Despite this, Baldwin emphasized that her motivation for speaking out was rooted in awareness, as she knew other contestants had faced similar situations in past seasons.
Emotional Experience on DWTS
During her interview, Baldwin also reflected on her tearful reaction to leaving the competition. “And I don’t care. I’ll be the person who’s crying in front of the world because I’m gonna show my humanity. Some people are gonna like that and some people are gonna make fun of me more for that,” she said.
However, Baldwin was quick to clarify that the experience on the show itself was overwhelmingly positive. “Everybody on the show is lovely,” she affirmed, distinguishing between internal camaraderie and external pressures from social media.
Baldwin highlighted the joy and personal growth she experienced throughout her DWTS journey. “Now, is this something where we have to go around and feel bad for me? We don’t. I had the time of my life. I’m only a better, happier person because I did the show,” she said.
Gratitude for the Opportunity
After her season 34 run concluded, Baldwin shared her gratitude and pride for her fellow contestants. “I’m going to be rooting for them,” she told PEOPLE, reflecting on the strong bonds formed during rehearsals and performances. She explained that her sadness stemmed from the happiness she experienced on the show: “The only reason I’m sad is because I was so happy. I was so happy. And so, that’s an important thing to remember. Sadness comes from missing something that was wonderful.”
Despite the challenges posed by fan campaigns and social media dynamics, Baldwin’s positive attitude and transparency have earned admiration from fans, reinforcing her image as a relatable and authentic public figure.
