Vigilante members in Kwaita village, Kwali Area Council, FCT, have arrested two young men—Isiyaku Musa and Yohana Danjuma—for allegedly attempting to break into a newly opened provision shop.

According to Yahaya Shuaibu, a vigilante member, the suspects were caught late Saturday night around 11:12 p.m., armed with a sledgehammer and cutter, while trying to tamper with the shop’s locks.

“They were caught in the act during a routine patrol. They attempted to flee but were immediately apprehended,” Shuaibu said.

The suspects were handed over to the police for further investigation.
