The Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, stated that God intends to use U.S. President Donald Trump to “reset the brains” of Nigerian political leaders. He made the remarks in a statement on Wednesday, addressing the persistent security challenges in Nigeria.

Pastor Giwa argued that only those benefiting from terrorism would oppose Trump’s threat of U.S. military action in the country. He claimed Nigerians broadly welcome foreign intervention, given the government’s perceived failure to address terrorism, corruption, and lawlessness.

He also criticized Nigeria’s independence leaders, suggesting they acted out of self-interest rather than the nation’s welfare, and lamented the government’s inability to meet citizens’ needs.
