Actor and filmmaker Kunle Afod has called for financial and moral support for veteran musician Innocent Onyebuchi, popularly known as Daddy Fresh, who has been battling severe health challenges for over two years.

In a video shared on Instagram, Daddy Fresh was seen hospitalized and struggling to recognize visitors, revealing that he suffers from kidney and liver problems, neuropathy, and vision issues. He also disclosed facing eviction due to unpaid rent and urgent medical needs, including blood transfusions.

Afod described Daddy Fresh as a legendary music artist whose contributions to Nigeria’s entertainment industry should not be forgotten. He urged Nigerians and members of the entertainment industry to come together to support and help sustain the musician during his critical time.
