Kourtney Kardashian Barker is getting candid about her role as a stepmom to her husband Travis Barker’s three older children: Alabama (19), Atiana (26), and Landon (22).

On a recent episode of The Kardashians, the 46-year-old Lemme co-founder appeared with her stepdaughter Alabama to film an intro for her Twitch stream. Reflecting on their bond, Kardashian Barker shared:

“Alabama and I are super close, I’ve known her since she was 8 years old. I love being there for her to support her. I love that she asked me, that she thinks I’m cool enough to be in her video.”

Balancing Friendship and Motherhood

Kourtney explained how she navigates her relationship with Travis’s older children:

“With the older kids I try to be there for them as a friend and I try to be there in a motherly way as much or as little as they are wanting. I don’t wanna be overbearing, but I love being there for them—to give them advice when they ask me, or spend time with them when they want to. Just in any way that I can.”

Kardashian Barker is also mom to her and Travis’s youngest son, Rocky Thirteen, 23 months, and co-parents her three older children—Penelope (12), Mason (15), and Reign (10)—with ex Scott Disick.

Celebrating Her Stepson

Earlier this month, Kourtney celebrated stepson Landon’s 22nd birthday on Instagram, sharing photos of the blended family and calling him “a light in my life.” The birthday post included playful shots with family members showing off peace signs, fun poses, and candid moments with Travis and Alabama.

Their close-knit relationship extends beyond birthdays. In April 2023, Alabama posted a heartfelt tribute to Kourtney on her birthday, writing:

“You are the best stepmom I could ask for, you are so caring and generous for others, you are such a family person and such a hard-working mom… I wouldn’t want another step mom.”
