Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has clarified that the decision to exclude Kylian Mbappé from France’s latest squad was not made by him, emphasizing that it was solely the choice of French national team coach Didier Deschamps.

On Thursday, Deschamps revealed his 23-man squad for France’s upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Italy and Israel. However, Mbappé’s absence from the list was a surprising development for many, raising questions and sparking speculation among fans and pundits alike.
