Arne Slot: "Big Responsibility" as Liverpool Chase Historic Title at Anfield

Liverpool boss Arne Slot says his side have a “big responsibility” to finish the job and secure the club’s 20th league title in front of the Anfield faithful this Sunday.

With Arsenal dropping points midweek, Liverpool need just one point against Tottenham to clinch the Premier League—with four games to spare.

Slot acknowledged the emotional weight of potentially winning the title in a packed stadium, something the club missed out on during the Covid-hit 2019-20 triumph.

“Everybody is looking forward to Sunday, but we know there’s still a job to be done,” Slot said.
“Hopefully, our fans support us like they have all season and help us get over the line.”

Tottenham, who haven’t won at Anfield since 2011 and are juggling Europa League duties, face a red-hot Liverpool side unbeaten in 15 of 16 home games this season.

Slot also pushed back on claims that this Premier League campaign has been weaker, calling it “a really difficult league” where even giants struggle to win by big margins.

Kick-off: Sunday, 16:30 BST. One point for glory.
