Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has shared his pick for the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment.

Raya, who has emerged as one of the Premier League’s top shot-stoppers since joining Arsenal, is frequently mentioned as one of the best in the world himself.

However, when asked to name the best goalkeeper currently, Raya chose Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid.

“Right now? That’s a tough question,” Raya said in an interview with reporters (via Metro UK). “I would say, for me, it’s Thibaut Courtois. Obviously, he’s been injured, but I would still pick him.”

Courtois, who won two Premier League titles with Chelsea, has since secured several major trophies, including the Champions League and La Liga with Real Madrid.
