Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has expressed his belief that Manchester City’s Rodri did not deserve to win this year’s Ballon d’Or.

Bellingham stated that his teammate, Vinicius Junior, was more deserving of the prestigious award.

Rodri claimed the Ballon d’Or during a ceremony in Paris on October 28, ahead of Vinicius, who was widely seen as the favorite.

Bellingham shared his opinion, saying, “In my view, the Ballon d’Or should have gone to Real Madrid, especially Vinicius.”

He added, “That’s just my opinion, and it’s not a slight on Rodri, who is a fantastic player. It’s just about our season.”

Vinicius played a crucial role in Real Madrid’s triumphs, helping secure both the LaLiga and Champions League titles.
