Bauchi Governor Names New SSG.

Bauchi State Governor, Sen. Bala Mohammed, has appointed Alhaji Aminu Hammayo, the Commissioner for Budget, Economic Planning, and Multilateral Coordination, as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG). Hammayo, who previously held the SSG position during former Governor Malam Isa Yuguda’s administration, succeeds Barr. Kashim Ibrahim, who resigned under controversial circumstances.

Additionally, the Governor has appointed Alhaji Hashimu Yakubu Kumbala, the Special Adviser on Special Duties, as the new Principal Private Secretary (PPS), replacing Pharmacist Samaila Adamu Burga, who was elected State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

A statement issued on Friday by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, confirmed that both appointees will be sworn in today.
