Nigeria’s National Grid experienced its 12th collapse of the year on Wednesday at approximately 2:09 pm, leaving Nigerians in darkness once again.

Since January 2024, the grid has failed 11 times, with three incidents occurring within a single week in October.

The official Nigeria National Grid Twitter account posted: “A major grid setback has occurred, and restoration efforts will begin shortly.”
