The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that the Red Cross has taken custody of Israeli hostage Gadi Mozes, along with five Thai nationals, following a chaotic handover in Khan Younis, Gaza.

According to the IDF, the Red Cross is now transporting the hostages to Israeli forces inside Gaza, who will then escort them out of the Strip.

Mozes was not clearly visible during the handover, which was marked by disorderly crowds and significant delays.

The cause of the delay in his transfer remains unclear.
