Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has acknowledged that he would understand if the club decided to part ways with him after a disappointing run of results.
City has won just once in their last 10 matches, including a 2-0 loss to Juventus on Wednesday. They currently sit 22nd in the Champions League, five points adrift of automatic qualification with two games remaining. In the Premier League, they are fourth, trailing leaders Liverpool by eight points, with the Reds holding a game in hand.
Guardiola, who has enjoyed great success since taking charge of City in 2016, has never faced such a severe slump in form. The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach has never been dismissed in his career.
Speaking with his former Brescia teammate Luca Toni on Prime Video Sport, Guardiola remarked: “If Man City want to send me home, I will go. What can you do in life? It doesn’t always go the way you want.”
