Nollywood stars Funke Akindele and Faithia Williams have unfollowed each other on Instagram.

The two were once known as close colleagues, often supporting each other’s work. However, a rift reportedly began after Faithia did not attend Akindele’s recent movie premiere but was present at Mercy Aigbe’s.

Sources suggest that Faithia’s absence from Funke’s event may have been a response to Funke not attending her father’s burial, despite receiving an invitation.

In response to the situation, Akindele unfollowed Faithia on Instagram. A recent check by JOINTEARN confirmed that the two are no longer following each other.
