As the excitement for the 2025 WNBA season builds, the Indiana Fever are preparing to tip off their preseason schedule on May 3, with the regular season opener scheduled for May 17 against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The Indiana Fever head into their second season with fan favorite Caitlin Clark, who returns to a revamped roster under new head coach Stephanie White. After an active offseason that saw the Fever strengthen their team through key free agency signings, the Fever are set to compete at a higher level in the 2025 season.
Key Additions to the Indiana Fever Roster
The Indiana Fever’s training camp roster features several important offseason additions to complement their core group, which includes Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston, and Lexie Hull. Notable veterans such as DeWanna Bonner, Sophie Cunningham, Natasha Howard, Brianna Turner, and Sydney Colson have joined the team, adding depth and experience to the lineup.
Roster Decisions Ahead for Coach Stephanie White
As Stephanie White and her coaching staff work to finalize the roster, the preseason will provide valuable opportunities for players to compete for a spot on the final team. The Fever currently have 15 players on the roster, but by the regular season opener on May 17, they must trim the squad to 12 players—a standard roster size in the WNBA, though teams may carry as few as 11 players.
Despite being allowed to bring in up to 18 players during camp, the Indiana Fever have decided to bring just 15 players into training camp, meaning three to four players will likely be released before the season begins.
