Khloé Kardashian is stepping back into the spotlight — but this time, she’s bringing the neighbors with her.

The reality TV star just announced a brand-new Hulu series titled Calabasas Behind the Gates, during Hulu’s inaugural Get Real House event on April 22. The show will offer a fresh twist by shifting the focus from the Kardashian-Jenner family to the lives of their friends and neighbors within their exclusive Calabasas community.

“It’s very exciting, very new, very excellent,” Khloé said at the panel. “We’re excited to continue developing.”

What’s the Show About?

According to Disney’s reality chief Rob Mills, the series aims to satisfy the public’s curiosity about the famous gated enclave.

“We all want to know what’s happening behind the gates of Calabasas—who are all these people in the extended lives of the Kardashians?”

Expect drama, lifestyle glam, and maybe a few surprise cameos from familiar Kardashian faces, although Khloé is keeping the exact cast under wraps for now.

Will the Rest of the Family Be Involved?

Khloé stayed mum on whether her sisters Kim, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie, or mom Kris Jenner will appear in the spinoff. And while Scott Disick joined her at the event, he also kept quiet about his possible role.

As for her brother Rob Kardashian? Khloé revealed she’s still hopeful he’ll return to The Kardashians, the family’s flagship Hulu show.

“I really do,” she said. “I always have my faith and confidence in Rob.”

She also confirmed that all the Kardashians get equal pay for the show — and, yes, they have veto power over what makes it to air.

“But it’s more vanity things that we would cut,” she clarified, noting that Kourtney is most likely to request edits—usually because she thinks she says “like” too much.
