“My eyes have seen a lot – Davido reflects on turning 32.”

Nigerian Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, took a moment to reflect on his life as he celebrated turning another year older. The singer, known for his hit song “Omo Baba Olowo,” marked his 32nd birthday on Thursday, November 21. Sharing his thoughts with fans on X (formerly Twitter), Davido expressed his gratitude for reaching this milestone, acknowledging that his journey hasn’t been as smooth as many might assume.

In his post, the artist emphasized that, contrary to popular belief, life has not always been easy for him. Despite facing various challenges, he conveyed a deep sense of gratitude to God for his continued success and to his loyal fans for their unwavering support. He wrote, “Big 32 soon! Omo, God is good. Happy to be alive! My eyes don see shege! But steady my fans dey shout shekpe!”

In addition to celebrating his birthday, Davido also announced his philanthropic efforts. He revealed that, to mark his 32nd birthday, he would be donating a generous sum of N300 million to orphanages across Nigeria. This act of kindness follows a similar charitable donation he made in 2021 when he celebrated his 29th birthday by contributing to the welfare of orphaned children.
