Newcastle United are reportedly planning a move for AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze, according to JOINTEARN.

The Magpies, as per TMW, have targeted the Nigerian international as a potential replacement for Miguel Almiron, who recently joined Major League Soccer’s Atlanta United.

Newcastle are expected to open talks with AC Milan by the end of the week. However, they will face competition from Real Sociedad, who have also shown interest in the player and reportedly made an approach to Milan last week.

Chukwueze, 25, joined AC Milan from Villarreal in 2023 and has scored twice in 18 league appearances for the club this season under coach Sergio Conceicao.
