Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is scheduled to headline Computex 2025 this Sunday with a keynote centered on the event’s theme, “AI Next,” highlighting cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence technology that continue to drive Nvidia’s growth.
Broadcast live from Taipei’s Music Center at 11 p.m. ET on Sunday, Huang’s presentation is expected to unveil Nvidia’s latest innovations in AI chips and may include announcements of new strategic partnerships. (The keynote will be livestreamed here.)
Nvidia shares have remained steady recently but gained roughly 15% this week, fueled by a new Saudi Arabian partnership announced during President Donald Trump’s recent Middle East visit, boosting investor optimism. These gains have helped Nvidia regain positive stock momentum for the year, with additional potential catalysts including the upcoming Computex announcements and Nvidia’s first-quarter earnings report due May 28.
At last year’s Computex, Nvidia revealed Rubin, the successor to its renowned Blackwell AI chip, which significantly boosted its stock price. CEO Jensen Huang confirmed in March that Rubin is on track for a 2026 launch.
Wedbush analysts predict “relatively positive news on the AI front” at Computex, suggesting Huang’s keynote could further reinforce Nvidia’s leadership in AI chip technology.
Other industry players like AMD and Qualcomm will also showcase new developments later in the week. AMD’s stock experienced a similar boost from Saudi deals, climbing about 14% this week. While Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan is not speaking at Computex, he will attend and engage with partners during private events.
Computex 2025 runs through May 23, making it a focal point for the latest innovations in AI and semiconductor technology.
