Nollywood star Odunlade Adekola has addressed singer Portable’s warning following a viral video featuring him and actress Ashabi Simple.

According to JOINTEARN, Portable confronted Odunlade over comments made after his baby mama, Ashabi, was seen hugging the actor on a movie set. In the video, Odunlade jokingly asked Ashabi if she had gotten Portable’s permission before the hug.

Taking offense to the remark, Portable reached out to Odunlade via direct message, questioning the intent behind his words and warning him not to disrespect his family.

Odunlade responded to the warning, assuring Portable that he never intended to disrespect him or his loved ones. The actor wrote, “My brother, good evening. I’m just seeing this. I love you, and I think you know that. I can never disrespect you or your home. Your family is my family.”

Appreciating the clarification, Portable expressed his respect for Odunlade, saying, “I respect you, boss. I really appreciate you. God bless you.”
