Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, has expressed his desire to win the revamped Champions League before retiring from football.
With over 30 years of experience as a football manager, the Italian has managed some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Juventus, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, and Everton.
Ancelotti’s trophy collection is extensive, featuring the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, La Liga, and Serie A titles.
Ahead of Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Osasuna on Saturday, Ancelotti shared his aspirations at the pre-match press conference:
“Before I retire, I want to win the new Champions League,” he said. “I’m a coach who always aims for the top.”
