Ademola Lookman has earned a nomination for the prestigious Serie A Forward of the Year award at the Gran Gala del Calcio Awards. The talented Atalanta forward is in the running alongside some of Italy’s top attacking players, including Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, as well as Rafael Leao of AC Milan.

In addition to Lookman’s nomination, Atalanta’s manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, has also been recognized for his excellent work and is a contender for the Coach of the Year award.

Lookman’s performance this season has been exceptional, as he has continued to impress with his attacking contributions for Atalanta. The 27-year-old winger has scored 8 goals and provided 5 assists in 14 appearances across all competitions. This follows a standout campaign last year, where he registered 17 goals and 10 assists for the club in all competitions.

In recognition of his stellar performances, Lookman secured 14th place in the 2024 Ballon d’Or ranking. Furthermore, he is widely regarded as the front-runner for the 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award, further solidifying his place among the best players in world football.
