Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, has once again paid tribute to his late mother on social media.

The Shake Body hitmaker expressed his deep longing, writing, “Man, I wish I could bring back my mother,” on X, moving his fans.

Skales lost his mother in October 2022.

In a recent interview with VJ Adams, the 33-year-old musician shared his regret for not having children sooner, especially before his mother passed away. He explained how her death made him realize he was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

“Right now, I regret not having baby mamas. I really regret it. I’m like the only person in my bloodline that is alive right now. So, the whole bloodline relies on me to produce [children],” he confessed.
