Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has revealed that she believes there is a divine purpose behind the delay in her career breakthrough.

In a recent appearance on The Receipts podcast, the 44-year-old music star shared her strong belief that God intentionally postponed her success for a greater reason.

She explained that the delay was meant to inspire other women who might feel discouraged about their own achievements at a young age.

Tiwa said, “I believe God did this on purpose. He delayed my success for a reason. I used to wonder why I wasn’t successful in my twenties, but I started seeing success in my thirties.

“It’s meant to inspire others. It’s for that 25-year-old girl who’s anxious about the future. If she sees my story and realizes I began in my thirties, she’ll know she still has time.”
