Ugochinyere Warns of Inescapable Doom for PDP

Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere, the representative for Ideato North/South Federal Constituency in Imo State, has warned that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faces an irreversible downfall unless it expels what he terms “political outlaws” from within its ranks.

In a statement, Ugochinyere suggested that if the PDP does not act to remove these figures, its fate could be worse than that of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and the Alliance for Democracy (AD).

The warning was issued on his X handle on Friday, amid the ongoing crisis within the PDP.

He criticized the actions of the party’s national chairman and secretary, accusing them of secretly meeting with the ruling government. “When such meetings happen, it signals irredeemable doom for the party if it doesn’t act. They are on the verge of handing over the PDP to the APC for a mere bowl of porridge,” Ugochinyere said. “If we don’t remove these shameless political traitors, the demise of the PDP will be worse than that of ANPP and AD.”
