Nigerian airline ValueJet is set to commence direct flight operations between Lagos, Nigeria, and Banjul, The Gambia, starting May 15, 2025. This strategic move aims to enhance regional air connectivity, promote economic ties, and boost tourism within West Africa.
The new route will operate twice weekly, with departures from Lagos on Thursdays and Sundays at 9:00 PM, arriving in Banjul at 11:30 PM. Return flights are scheduled for Mondays and Fridays, departing Banjul at 12:30 AM and arriving in Lagos at 5:00 AM. All flights will utilize the newly commissioned terminal at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, designed to improve passenger experience and streamline operations.
