Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has assured corps members that his administration is committed to providing a safe environment for their service.
Speaking on Tuesday at the conclusion of the three-week Batch C Stream One orientation course at the temporary camp in Gusau, the Governor, represented by Tasi’u Musa Shinkafi, Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, emphasized his administration’s dedication to ensuring the security and welfare of corps members deployed to the state.
Governor Lawal encouraged the corps members to demonstrate hard work, commitment, and dedication in their contributions to the socio-economic development of both the state and the country.
“My administration will ensure a safe environment for the corps members to serve and thrive,” he stated.
Earlier, the NYSC State Coordinator, Muhammad Auwal Lawal, commended the state government’s efforts in making the necessary arrangements for the well-being of the corps members. He also urged the corps members to stay focused on their national service and avoid engaging in night parties or unnecessary travel.
