Nigerian rapper and fashion entrepreneur Zlatan Ibile has criticized some of his peers for shaming individuals who wear fake designer brands.

In a viral video, Zlatan expressed his disapproval of fashion entrepreneurs publicly mocking people for not being able to afford original products. He stated, “People who buy fake should keep doing so until they can afford the original. Someone wearing fake today might wear original tomorrow.”

This comes after recent incidents where fashion entrepreneur Rahman Jago called out veteran singer Oritse Femi for wearing fake high-fashion items. Similarly, a few months ago, Ashluxe boss Olayinka Ashogbon accused singer Lyta of wearing counterfeit designs of his brand.
