Wema Bank has introduced the GAH Elite Club Black Card in preparation for the 13th GAH Awards and Business Summit, a move aimed at strengthening the platform’s influence across governance, enterprise, and creative sectors in Africa.
The summit is set for December 12 at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos, and will feature prominent personalities, including Zamfara Governor Dauda Lawal, Air Peace CEO Allen Onyema, and human rights advocate Femi Falana.
Princess Oghene, convener of the awards, highlighted this year’s theme, “Africa Reimagined: Innovation, Inclusion, and Sustainable Growth,” emphasizing that the GAH Awards have grown from a recognition platform into a movement supporting empowerment initiatives across the continent.
The newly launched GAH Elite Club Black Card offers global financial and hospitality benefits and provides exclusive access to all flagship GAH events. Oghene encouraged partnerships with institutions and corporate entities, describing the card as a gateway to influence and strategic opportunities.
At the launch, leaders from various sectors discussed how the initiative aims to elevate Africa’s narrative through creativity and opportunity. Financial expert Grace Ofure stressed the importance of connecting local talent to global markets to promote African innovation and storytelling.
