Popular Nigerian cleric and senior pastor, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has urged Nigerians to intensify prayers for the country as the 2027 general elections approach, warning that troubling forces beyond conventional politics may be unfolding.
Speaking during a recent sermon, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries cautioned that political maneuvers such as defections, alliances, and party strategies may not shape Nigeria’s future as many expect. According to him, what lies ahead transcends human calculations and party affiliations.
Apostle Suleman stressed that his message was not rooted in fearmongering but in concern for national peace and preservation. He revealed that he received a disturbing vision marked by chaos, confusion, and emotional distress, with families separated and people desperately searching for loved ones.
“The revelation I saw was not pleasant,” the cleric said, emphasizing the urgency for collective prayers to avert instability. He noted that the challenges confronting Nigeria go beyond religious commentary and must be addressed at the highest levels of leadership.
Anticipating criticism, Suleman dismissed claims that he was predicting doom, insisting that his warning was a spiritual call to action rather than an attempt to incite panic.
“Pray for Nigeria. While politicians are making their plans, I see a higher force planning,” he said. “This is not about political calculation or party defection. What is being planned is bigger than politics. We must pray for peace and preservation.”
He added that the scenes shown to him—of people running in confusion, mothers searching for their children and children looking for their mothers—underscore the need for urgent national reflection and prayer.
