Mississauga, Canada: Canadian authorities have detained a 25-year-old man of Indian descent in connection with multiple allegations that he exposed himself to female healthcare workers while posing as a patient at various clinics across Mississauga. The arrest follows a series of complaints from women working in healthcare facilities who reported incidents of indecent behavior.

The Peel Regional Police (PRP) confirmed that officers from the 12 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau apprehended the Brampton resident, identified as Vaibhav, on December 4, 2025. According to investigators, Vaibhav allegedly visited multiple medical centres over several months, claiming to have health issues. Police allege that these fabricated medical complaints were used as a pretext to engage in inappropriate conduct toward female doctors and staff members.

Authorities stated that the accused often provided false identities during his visits, sometimes introducing himself as “Akashdeep Singh,” as part of a calculated effort to manipulate and pressure women into unwanted encounters. The PRP noted that the man’s behavior included repeated exposure in clinic settings, which constitutes an indecent act under Canadian law.

Vaibhav is currently in custody, awaiting a bail hearing, and is facing several serious charges. These include committing an indecent act in a public place, identity fraud for personal gain, possession of another individual’s identification, and identity theft. Police have also indicated that there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward, and they are encouraging anyone with relevant information to report their experiences.

The Peel Regional Police emphasized the seriousness of the allegations and the ongoing investigation, warning the public and medical professionals to remain vigilant. “We take these allegations very seriously.
