Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has congratulated Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo on his re-election in the November 8, 2025 governorship election, describing it as a reflection of the people’s choice.

Speaking through his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke emphasized the importance of respecting voters’ decisions and preventing electoral malpractice, stating that democracy relies on free, fair, and transparent elections.

He highlighted:

• Soludo’s re-election reflects his performance and connection with the people.
• Power originates from the people, and leaders cannot impose themselves in a democracy.
• Electoral reform and accountability are crucial to sustaining democracy.

Adeleke also praised INEC under Prof. Amupitan and urged political actors to commit to transparency and respect for the electorate.
