‘Renewed Hope Agenda Has Restored Confidence in Governance’ – FRHI

A civic group, the Fruits of Renewed Hope Initiative (FRHI), has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for taking bold and decisive steps that have restored public confidence in governance and promoted transparency across all sectors.

Speaking during a press conference to unveil the group in Abuja on Monday, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Barrister Medina Anako, said the administration’s economic and social reforms are unlocking the creative and entrepreneurial potential of Nigerian youths.

“This administration has taken bold and decisive steps to restore confidence in governance, promote transparency, and unlock the creative and entrepreneurial energy of Nigerians,” Anako said.

Tinubu’s Economic Reforms Laying Foundation for Growth

Anako praised the economic restructuring initiatives of the Tinubu administration, describing them as visionary steps toward sustainable growth and job creation.

She highlighted key reforms such as fuel subsidy removal, fiscal rebalancing, and targeted social investment programmes that are empowering youths and women across the country.

“Through programmes like the Renewed Hope Job Creation Programme, Grant Schemes for Small Businesses, and the Student Loan Act, thousands of Nigerians are being empowered,” she noted.

Anako added that these initiatives are ensuring that no Nigerian youth is denied educational or entrepreneurial opportunities due to financial constraints.

Infrastructure and Agriculture Development on Track

The FRHI chief applauded the government’s infrastructure drive, citing road rehabilitation projects, power investments, and affordable housing schemes as visible evidence of progress.

In the agricultural sector, she said, renewed collaboration between government, local farmers, and international partners is boosting food production and tackling food insecurity.

“In technology and innovation, the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme and the Digital Economy Strategy are equipping young Nigerians with globally competitive skills. These are the fruits of renewed hope — tangible, measurable, and progressive,” she added.

FRHI: Bridging Policy and the People

Anako emphasized that FRHI is not a political movement, but a civic initiative aimed at connecting citizens with government programmes and explaining the benefits of the Renewed Hope Agenda in simple, relatable terms.

She said many Nigerians are unaware of existing empowerment opportunities, stressing that the group would partner with ministries, civil society organizations, and development partners to bring accurate information to every community.

“Our mission is to simplify government policies and communicate opportunities directly to the people. Transformation must begin from the bottom-up — one household, one community, one region at a time,” she said.

Media, Traditional Leaders Urged to Support National Renewal

Calling for media partnership, Anako urged journalists to promote accurate and constructive reporting that inspires trust and national unity.

She also revealed plans to engage traditional rulers, religious leaders, and grassroots organizations to ensure the Renewed Hope message reaches every part of the country.

“We must all work together to rebuild faith in the Nigerian project. The media, civil society, and citizens each have a role in sustaining this renewed hope,” she said.
