‘They’re Dangerous’ – Igbokwe Urges FG to Protect Wike from Land Grabbers

Public commentator Joe Igbokwe has called on the Federal Government to protect FCT Minister Nyesom Wike from alleged land grabbers in Abuja, describing them as a “potentially dangerous and formidable cartel.”

In a Facebook post on Friday, Igbokwe claimed that the illicit activities of land grabbers have persisted for years and have effectively captured lands across the Federal Capital Territory.

He wrote:

“Abuja land grabbers are professional thieves. They are vicious, potentially dangerous, a formidable cartel. It has been going on for years.
The business is big, and the professional land grabbers are big also. FCT lands are their own. FG protect Wike!”

Igbokwe’s comments follow the recent public clash between Minister Wike and a naval officer who prevented him from accessing a portion of land in the territory.

A video of the heated exchange between Wike and the soldier went viral, sparking nationwide reactions and renewed discussions about land disputes and security in Abuja.
