Popular Nigerian singer Aituaje Iruobe, professionally known as Waje, has announced her engagement. The 45-year-old music star revealed this in a recent interview with Hip TV Lagos, saying:

“I am actually engaged,” though she did not provide further details about her fiancé.

In a previous interview on The Honest Bunch, Waje mentioned that she cannot marry an unsuccessful man, explaining that her age does not allow her to be patient with a struggling partner.

She also spoke candidly about her past, revealing that the father of her daughter denied responsibility after getting her pregnant as a teenager. Though he later apologized, he never assumed responsibility for their daughter, despite Waje complying with his request for a DNA test, which he failed to attend.
