Nnamdi Kanu: Sowore, Lawyers Arrive Federal High Court Ahead of Judgment

Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore and several lawyers have arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja, ahead of the judgment in the case of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu.

The court is expected to deliver its ruling on Kanu’s terrorism-related charges today, Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Kanu has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) since June 2021, following his controversial interception and return to Nigeria from Kenya—a move his legal team has described as “extraordinary rendition.”

At the time of reporting, lawyers including Maxwell Opara and others were present in the courtroom, awaiting the judgment.
