Three Girls for Whom I Stole Noodles Never Visited Me in Prison – Adamawa Man Laments

A 24-year-old man, Usama Abdullahi, has lamented that his three girlfriends, for whom he stole packs of noodles, never visited him in prison.

Abdullahi, a resident of Shelleng, Adamawa State, made the confession before the Adamawa State Jail Delivery Committee, a special mobile court tasked with reviewing cases to decongest correctional centres.

He revealed that he stole packs of instant noodles and distributed them to his three girlfriends, before fleeing to another town, Shani, where he was subsequently arrested.

“When the court sent me to prison, none of them came to visit me,” Abdullahi said.

At the time of the incident, he was working at a car wash in Shelleng and was initially sentenced to two years in prison by the local court. He served part of his term at the Shelleng Satellite Custodial Facility.

During a routine review by the Jail Delivery Committee, headed by the state Chief Judge, Justice Hafsat Abdulrahman, his sentence was reduced from two years in confinement to community service at the facility.
