Former Big Brother Naija star Kiddwaya recently claimed that his father, Terry Waya, was the discoverer of the iconic Banana Island in Lagos.

He made the revelation during an appearance on the Off The Record podcast. When asked by the host, “I heard that your dad discovered Banana Island. Is that correct?” Kiddwaya responded:

“Yeah, I didn’t even know until I heard it during one of my trips.”

Terry Waya, a self-styled billionaire, has investments spanning real estate, agriculture, and hospitality. His public profile gained further attention during and after Kiddwaya’s participation in the 2020 season of Big Brother Naija.
