
India’s newly appointed High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ambassador Abhishek Singh, has officially presented his Letter of Credence to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, marking the start of his diplomatic tenure in the country.
According to a statement from the Indian Embassy in Abuja, President Tinubu warmly received Ambassador Singh, congratulating him and extending his best wishes for a successful tour of duty in Nigeria.
Ambassador Singh reaffirmed India’s commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of deepening cooperation in key sectors such as trade, technology, energy, and development. He expressed confidence that the bilateral relationship would continue to expand and benefit both nations.
The envoy also highlighted his dedication to advancing shared priorities between India and Nigeria in the coming years, signaling a renewed focus on mutually beneficial collaboration and partnership.
