The Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA) has been honored with the Business Advocacy and Partnership Award by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).
The award was presented during PEBEC’s Annual Award and Gala Night at the Banquet Hall, Aso Villa, Abuja, in recognition of NECA’s commitment, strategic collaboration, and constructive engagement in strengthening Nigeria’s business environment and supporting the government’s reform agenda.
“We are honoured by this recognition and remain fully committed to deepening constructive dialogue, driving evidence-based advocacy, and championing reforms that unlock the full potential of the private sector,” said NECA Director-General Adewale-Smatt Oyerinde.
Oyerinde expressed appreciation to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration and PEBEC for the recognition, highlighting that the award underscores NECA’s ongoing efforts to support enterprises, advance regulatory improvements, and create a more predictable economic landscape.
He added that the accolade serves as a renewed motivation for NECA to strengthen institutional partnerships, deepen its role in national development, and continue supporting reforms that drive sustainable economic progress in Nigeria.
