The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has urged its members across the country to purchase Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from Dangote Refinery, citing the refinery’s affordable pricing and nationwide free delivery starting January 2026.

IPMAN National President Alhaji Abubakar Maigandi Shettima praised Dangote Petroleum Refinery and its Chairman, Aliko Dangote, for supporting the Federal Government and contributing to steady reductions in the petrol pump price.

Shettima highlighted that IPMAN controls over 80% of PMS retail distribution, ensuring there will be no supply gaps or scarcity for Nigerians. He stressed that this partnership with Dangote Refinery would further reduce petrol prices at filling stations nationwide.

He also called on the new leadership of NMDPRA and NUPRC to urgently address IPMAN’s long-standing bridging claims, totaling over N190 billion.

Shettima emphasised that domestic refining, not continuous importation, should be the foundation for Nigeria’s petroleum sector, warning that indiscriminate import licenses distort the market, drain foreign exchange, and discourage investment.
