Afrobeats superstar Davido has been confirmed as one of the headline performers at the official kick-off concert of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), according to DAILY POST.

The concert will take place on Saturday at the Olm Souissi Fan Zone in Rabat, Morocco. Other international and regional artistes scheduled to perform include French Montana, Douaa Lahyaoui, Says’z, and Lartiste.

Attendance at the concert will be open to fans who possess valid Fan IDs and match tickets for the tournament.

Davido is no stranger to major global sporting events. He previously performed at the opening ceremony of the 2017 AFCON, the 2022 FIFA World Cup draw in Doha, and the 2023 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards.

The 2025 AFCON finals will officially kick off later on Saturday with the opening match between host nation Morocco and Comoros at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat.
