Nigerian comedian Sabinus, professionally Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, has come to the defense of TikTok star Peller following his public breakup with influencer Jarvis in December 2025. Speaking during a live session with Sandra Benede, Sabinus urged the public to show empathy toward Peller, highlighting how emotions can influence decisions, even among successful individuals.
Drawing from personal experience, Sabinus revealed that he once bought a Range Rover for a former girlfriend purely out of love, illustrating how relationships can push people into costly or regrettable actions. “Jarvis has finished Peller. I have been in Peller’s situation before. Love is a bad thing. I gifted a girl a Range Rover because of love, so nobody should blame Peller,” he said.
Sabinus’s comments underscore the emotional vulnerability that comes with relationships, particularly for public figures whose struggles are constantly scrutinized. His message was a call for understanding rather than criticism, reminding fans that fame and wealth do not shield anyone from heartbreak.
The defense comes after Peller’s dramatic split from Jarvis, which included a car crash during an Instagram Live session, reportedly caused by emotional distress. Peller was briefly hospitalized and has since announced that 2026 will be a “girl-free” year to focus on personal growth.
