“I’ve Never Touched the Church Cheque Book” – Pastor Enenche Responds to Allegations

Dr. Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has addressed claims that he uses church funds to support his personal lifestyle, calling them “baseless and ill-informed.”

Speaking during a church service, a video of which has gone viral, Enenche firmly stated that neither he nor any member of his family has ever handled the church’s cheque book since the ministry was founded. He clarified that all income from church materials, including books and CDs, has never been used for personal expenses.

The pastor criticized assumptions linking his appearance or accessories to church money. “People see a suit or a watch and immediately conclude it’s church money. That kind of thinking makes no sense,” he said. He further explained that many of his items are either gifts or provisions from God, with some even given away to others. “I once gave away over 200 suits in a single day. That was enough,” he revealed.

Enenche encouraged Christians to focus less on material possessions and more on spiritual growth, advising, “Let’s stop living for things and start living for God and His kingdom. When you do that, the things people pursue will begin to pursue you.”
