Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has raised serious concerns about drunk driving in Lagos following a frightening near-death encounter on the city’s roads.

Taking to social media, Onazi recounted a late-night incident where he narrowly avoided a collision with two intoxicated drivers. Though he did not disclose the exact location, the football star highlighted the growing menace of reckless driving fueled by alcohol consumption.

Visibly shaken, Onazi called on the government and road safety authorities, including the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), to take urgent measures to protect innocent road users. He warned that without stricter monitoring and enforcement, such life-threatening situations could happen to anyone.
