Nigerian music star Adekunle Gold and his wife, singer Simi, have welcomed twins, adding to the joy in their growing family.

The award-winning artiste shared the exciting news on Wednesday via his Snapchat page, expressing gratitude for what he described as a double blessing from God.

“Asked God for another child and He blessed me double,” Adekunle Gold wrote.

Speculation about Simi’s pregnancy had intensified in December 2025 after she posted a video on Instagram captioned, “From my baby, for my babies,” which showed her with a noticeable baby bump and generated widespread excitement among fans.

The arrival of the twins comes shortly after Simi promoted a scene from Adekunle Gold’s recent music video, My Love Is the Same, further fueling anticipation among followers.

Adekunle Gold and Simi, who got married in 2019 after years of friendship and musical collaboration, already share a daughter and are widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s most admired celebrity couples. Both artists were formerly signed to X3M Music before rising to mainstream success.
