Judges of the Rivers State High Court have resumed full judicial duties following the conclusion of the Christmas vacation.

The Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice Simeon Chibuzor Amadi, had earlier announced that the court’s holiday period would run from Thursday, December 23, 2025, to Friday, January 9, 2026.

In a statement issued by the Chief Registrar, David Ihua-Maduenyi, the Chief Judge reminded the public to take note of the resumption date, confirming that all judicial activities resumed on Monday, January 12, 2026.
