Nigerian rapper Odumodu Blvck has stirred reactions online after making a humorous appeal to Moroccan fans ahead of the Super Eagles’ AFCON 2025 semi-final clash against Morocco.

The rapper performed at a fan zone event in Rabat on January 11, where he entertained football fans amid the growing excitement surrounding the tournament. During his performance, Odumodu praised Morocco’s hospitality, weather and cuisine before jokingly asking the host nation’s supporters to back Nigeria in the crucial encounter scheduled for Wednesday, January 14.

In a lighthearted moment captured on video, he said:

“The weather is wonderful, the people are amazing, and the food is fantastic. Moroccans, I am begging you, let Nigeria win, please. It is one Africa.”

To the amusement of the crowd, the rapper briefly went down on his knees to dramatise the request. The audience responded loudly with shouts of “no,” sparking laughter and highlighting the lively atmosphere at the fan zone.
