Nigerian comedian and reality TV star DeeOne has called on the federal government to scrutinize the financial operations of all Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in the country.
In a video shared on Instagram, DeeOne raised concerns about alleged unlawful practices by some NGOs, claiming that certain organizations may be used to finance terrorism, kidnappings, human trafficking, and other criminal activities.
He urged authorities to conduct thorough investigations into NGO accounts, stressing that while legitimate NGOs can generate revenue, profits should not come at the expense of human lives.
“Federal government of Nigeria, please investigate all the NGOs accounts in the country. A lot of them are being used to sponsor terrorism, kidnappers, child trafficking, and human harvesting. We’re not saying you should not make money, but it has to be legit, not at the expense of people’s lives,” DeeOne said.
